Welcome from the President
On behalf of the exclusive committee and members of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Society, I welcome you to the Society’s website, where you will find many useful resources.
The HKCBEES is the premiere professional society for researchers across the world who are working on chemical, biological and environmental engineering. Membership grades include student, regular and senior members, with the possibility of election to the college of fellows. The society has members from all over the world, and has several branch societies (BBS, CMS, EAS) along with regional chapters.
The mission of HKCBEES is to encourage regional and international communication and collaboration, to promote professional interaction and lifelong learning; recognize outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations, and to encourage scholar researchers to pursue studies and careers in Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering.
One of HKCBEES departments is a Professional Congress Organizer or Meeting Planner who administers and brings to fruition the organization of a congress, meeting, event or convention in a professional manner. Such a professional manner will include timeliness, efficiency, financial responsibility and good management. Every year, we will Co-organize several important conferences with other universities, organizations all over the world.
