2016 Feb. Rome Conferences were Successfully Held
From Feb. 1st to 2nd, 2016, the 5th International Conference on Clean and Green Energy (ICCGE), the 6th International Conference on Chemistry and Chemical Process (ICCCP) and the 7th International Conference on Environmental Science and Development (ICESD) were held successfully in Rome.
The conferences brought together over 50 scholars in the field of energy, chemical, environmental science and engineering all over the world. Conference Chair, Prof. Jacek Namieśnik Gdansk University of Technology (Poland) started the opening remarks. Then, Prof. Marco Casini from Sapienza University of Rome presented the keynote speech topic in “The Integration of Renewable Energy Sources at the Building and District Scale: Current Developments and Future Perspectives”. Prof. Jacek Namieśnik followed with keynote speech topic in “Microextraction Procedures as Sample Preparation Techniques for Organic Trace Constituents”. After coffee break, Prof. Hartmut Hinz and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Michael Schmidt both from University of Applied Sciences (Germany) brought excellent keynote speech each topic in “Electrical Energy Storage: State-of-the-Art” and “Short-Term Prediction of Solar and Wind Power”. The audience actively involved in the Q&A after each speech and gained great knowledge from those brilliant presentations.
Branch session with variety related topics are held by different session chairs in the afternoon. Conference participants made presentations to share their work with scholars and got sincere advice from others. Best papers were selected by the session chair and rewarded for each session.
In the next day, participants visited the labs of Sapienza University of Rome and communicated with university staffs. In the afternoon, we had a tour in Rome visiting the Colossum and Roman Forum. It was an educational and interesting day.
The conferences are aimed to introduce the latest technological development and academic research on hot issues of the related field. It provided a platform for domestic and foreign experts and technicians to exchange ideas and achievements. The conferences are held every year, the next sets of the conferences will be held in Frankfurt, Germany during Feb. 8th to 10th, 2017.
